When a manufacturer stops trading or stops supporting a system, its fire tests, structural calculations, manufacturing specifications and BIM models should not disappear with it. Digital escrow keeps that evidence recoverable for the people who actually built with it.
Offsite manufacturers fail, get acquired, or move on to a different system. When that happens, the technical record behind buildings already in the ground can vanish with them: no fire strategy evidence, no structural calculations, no as-built BIM model. The client is left holding a building nobody can verify, maintain, extend or insure with confidence.
Escrow addresses this the way software escrow has for decades: a trusted third party holds the complete record, and releases it only when a defined trigger is met.
The manufacturer lodges the complete technical pack: fire test reports, structural calculations, manufacturing specifications, BIM models and O+M documentation.

The pack sits in secure, segregated storage, refreshed on a set cycle as the system changes. Nobody can access it without a trigger event.
